“CIP” stands for “commercial important person”. CIP Tehran is a service for a three-story building at Imam Khomeini International Airport where departing or arriving passengers spend their time while their check-in/out is processed. This building features a two-story lounge, a spacious living area overlooking the runway, a self-service restaurant serving various types of food, drinks, desserts, sweets, etc. throughout the day, a prayer room, a conference hall for up to 15 people people, a VIP conference room, video game consoles for children's entertainment, shops selling handicrafts, perfumes, nuts, etc., ATMs and other rooms and services. The passengers of arriving and departing flights can enjoy various areas and services of the CIP terminal during their layover at the airport. Other facilities located in the CIP terminal are the security and customs gate and baggage drop-off counter, exclusive parking lots with a capacity of 88 cars and temporary outdoor parking.

• If the plane is on the runway, the journey from the plane to the CIP building or vice versa is carried out by special cars.
